This last specialty had the most profound affect on her soul & spirit, as she knew her calling was to help other Professionals deal with the physiological effects of stress in their lives. Lynda has been fortunate to Study Virtually from such renowned clinicians, researchers & Coaches as Mike Jay, Dr. Carol McClelland, Dr. John Mason, Dr. Don Beck & Dr. Carl Harshman, Michael Port, Terri Levine and Sharon Wilson. Lynda says: "We are busier in the 21st Century, than at any other time in history of man; and because of this, we are experiencing far greater effects of stress on our bodies. We were made for The "Fight-Flight" Response! This immediate, explosive, heart pounding response makes great physiological sense to protect our bodies during times of near death situations, by diverting blood away from our extremities and into our internal vital organs. Because the brain is also depleted during The Fight-Flight Response, fleeing takes very little forethought or planning; this in turn allows us to rapidly get out of harms way, without bleeding to death. Today, we have an entirely different paradigm occurring day in and day out, as the effects of stress chronically play upon our bodies over lengthy periods of time vs. the Fight or Flight Response we are made for." Think about what stress has done to your body! If the effects of stress are an on-going concern for you, and you would like to reduce or eliminate the effects of common ailments such as headaches, stomach or bowel problems, chronic pain, irregular heart beats, hypertension or a sleep disorders, please call Lynda for an Evaluative Consultation. |
